Countdown
The Countdown Widget is available from v2.3.
Speak to your Administrator to upgrade the CMS to benefit from this new feature!
The Countdown Widget can be used to show a countdown for a selected duration or until a specified date and displayed using preset templates.
Click on the Countdown Widget on the toolbar, add / drag to the target Region
General
- Provide an optional name, to be used internally for identification purposes.
- Select to override the default duration if needed.
Configuration
Use the drop-down menu to select the type of countdown to display:
Widget Duration - The countdown is determined by the duration of the Widget.
Custom Duration - Set a countdown duration in seconds.
Use Date - Countdown to a selected date and time.
Use the Warning Duration / Date to set at which point the countdown will change to a 'warning mode' for the remainder of the countdown.
The "warning" and "finished" status can be styled using the CSS style sheet on overriding a Template.
Templates
Select from the available Preset templates using the drop-down menu:
Overriding Templates
Templates can be edited by selecting a Template using the drop-down and clicking in the Override the template checkbox.
Click again on the Templates tab and select from a Main or Optional Stylesheet to edit:
To return to the Preset menu Template selection, untick the override checkbox.
Date Format - PHP
EZSignage should accept any date format that is in a correct PHP date format, the following characters are recognised and can be used:
